Communication Standards"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Main objectives<\/strong>&nbsp;project:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>activation and support for informal groups and small NGOs as well as civic dialogue bodies in Katowice,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>improving social self-organisation,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the growing importance of the civil sector in public life.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Project&nbsp;<strong>is addressed to all residents of Katowice<\/strong>, who are interested in becoming involved in public policy-making, and&nbsp;<strong>in particular to<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>NGOs,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>active residents of Katowice,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>representatives of Katowice's civic dialogue bodies, i.e. the public benefit council, senior citizens, ON and the city's youth council and district council.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Activities will contribute to&nbsp;<strong>increasing the participation of 220 residents in the shaping of public policies<\/strong>&nbsp;until 30 November 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">NEWFIO includes&nbsp;<strong>6 well-thought-out and well-planned paths<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Developing standards for communication with the public<\/strong>:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>co-creation of public policies,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>preparation of local standards in cooperation with representatives of the local community,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a description of the standards and tools needed to implement the developed standards;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>School of communication<\/strong>:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>preparing NGO representatives to support local activists in communicating using new technologies,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>training courses addressing the topics of needs and objectives, counselling skills, communication standards, remote working tools, participation in law-making and communication (with particular emphasis on soft skills),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>graduation from communications school will provide the opportunity to start as a communications specialist;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Provision of tools<\/strong>:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>preparing the technical infrastructure needed by NGOs during a pandemic,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the creation of a platform for cooperation between organisations,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>obtaining support from specialists in IT;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Participation in communication with the public<\/strong>:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>undertake animation activities to encourage organisations to participate in local policy-making and problem diagnosis,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Supporting communication specialists during their work in the field, motivating them, monitoring their work and providing support to advisors,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>meetings of local organisations and city-wide meetings;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Animation of civil dialogue bodies<\/strong>:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>advice and consultation meetings for NGOs and Katowice's district councils on, among other things, how to organise the consultation process,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>networking meetings for civil dialogue councils and NGOs;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Evaluation of the various stages of the project<\/strong>:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>evaluation of the standards development process and preparation of tools,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>evaluation of the preparation of communication professionals (school and counselling),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>evaluation of animation and participatory local law-making activities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Project start date<\/strong>: 1.05.2022<br><strong>Project completion date<\/strong>:
