The aim of the project is the professional and social reintegration of 30 people from the Gliwice area. This objective will be achieved through three project tasks, which are based on activities supporting CIS participants and the work of two workshops \u2013 a culinary workshop and a renovation, construction and cleaning workshop \u2013 located at 3 Przedwio\u015bnie Street in Gliwice \u2013 So\u015bnica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project will help to revitalise community life and provide vocational training in the neighbourhood; within its scope of influence, it will improve the standard of living for residents of So\u015bnica and enhance the employability of 48 people who have been out of the labour market for a long time in the City of Gliwice (including 18 people from the participants\u2019 social circles). These objectives will be achieved through the activities of the Social Integration Centre, work placements, and support in the areas of social and vocational skills. The acquisition of new vocational skills, coupled with an increased belief in and motivation regarding their ability to reintegrate into normal social and professional life, will enable them to successfully break free from social exclusion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Project objectives:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The aim is to reintegrate and activate 48 project participants by 31 December 2022. The CIS, established as part of the project as a specialised reintegration unit, will run vocational workshops. The CIS will ensure an increase in the employability of people who are excluded or at risk of social exclusion by facilitating their social and vocational reintegration, including through motivational and therapeutic workshops, tailoring to participants\u2019 individual needs (IPU) and through Individual Social Employment Programmes, as well as participation in sessions run within the framework of two vocational workshops, which will enable participants to restore or strengthen their social skills, resourcefulness, independence and social engagement, thereby effectively combating poverty and social exclusion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Planned outcomes:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

by facilitating social and vocational reintegration, including through motivational and therapeutic workshops tailored to the individual needs of participants in the Individualised Programme (IPU) and the Social Employment Programme (IP Zatrudnienia Socjalnego), as well as participation in activities conducted within the framework of two vocational workshops, will enable participants to restore or strengthen their social skills, resourcefulness, independence and social engagement, leading to an effective fight against poverty and social exclusion. Furthermore, in the vocational aspect of active integration, participants will determine the direction of their career development with a view to acquiring professional qualifications and skills, leading to the attainment of vocational competences in line with the needs of the local and regional labour market. Acquiring the professional qualifications and skills sought after in the labour market will help participants to secure and retain employment \u2013 including supported or temporary employment \u2013 particularly during the initial period of employment. Consequently, the project aligns with the specific objective of the operational programme, which is to increase the employability of people who are excluded or at risk of social exclusion. The support is aimed at 30 participants. Acquiring new vocational skills, whilst simultaneously boosting confidence and motivation in their ability to integrate into normal everyday social and professional life, will enable them to effectively break free from exclusion and life on the margins of society. Priority will be given to people with disabilities, as well as those with low vocational qualifications, the unemployed and those at risk of social exclusion. Of the 48 beneficiaries, 30 will be selected to take part in the programme, and at least 15 will take up employment. As part of the prevention of social exclusion, aimed at 18 participants, community-based forms of social activation will be utilised \u2013 solely as accompanying support, essential for the activation of individuals, groups and families affected by or at risk of poverty and social exclusion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
