The School of Communication aims to equip participants to support local activists in promoting their work and the social campaigns they organise. We invite residents of Katowice, as well as people associated with Katowice\u2019s councils, initiatives, organisations, etc., to take part in the course.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

To complete the School of Communication and obtain the title of Communication Trainer, you must take part in a series of six sessions comprising training courses on the following topics:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. How to communicate effectively (Friday 19 May, 3.30 pm\u20138.00 pm),<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Facilitation \u2013 support in project management (Saturday 20 May, 10.00\u201314.30),<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. How to communicate effectively about your activities \u2013 promoting social initiatives (Friday 2 June, 3.30 pm\u20138.00 pm),<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Effective team management \u2013 effective organisational performance (Saturday 3 June, 10.00\u201314.30),<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Local government \u2013 how it works. Community initiatives \u2013 how to organise them (Friday 16 June, 3.30 pm\u20138.00 pm),<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Public speaking \u2013 with dignity, but at ease (Saturday 17 June, 10.00\u201314.30).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Every graduate of the School of Communication will have to organise at least one training session for people active in the local community, during which they will share with them the valuable knowledge they have gained during their own training<\/strong>. A volunteering agreement will be drawn up with the graduates. We will also provide all technical and financial support<\/strong> when organising their own training courses after completing the School of Communication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The training sessions will take place at the Centre for Non-Governmental Organisations \u2013 in Katowice, at 14 Kopernika Street.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
