Its main objective is to support seniors (60+) to stay mentally and physically active and to adapt their education to today's technological and social challenges.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project involves the creation of innovative educational materials and the promotion of openness and intercultural integration, which will contribute to strengthening social cohesion and solidarity based on the experience of the senior citizens' councils of Katowice and Ostrava.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One of the key elements of the project will be the exchange of good practices among seniors, especially members of Senior Citizens' Councils from both Poland and the Czech Republic. Joint activities will enable seniors to gain new experiences, inspire each other and develop skills that will allow them to actively participate in community life. The project will create a space for discussion, knowledge sharing and building international ties, which will contribute to a better understanding of the needs and challenges faced by seniors in both countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Project objectives<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The aim of the project is to develop and implement effective solutions and recommendations to support the learning capacity of older people (60+), to adapt the education of seniors to contemporary technological and social challenges and to prepare them for active participation in intercultural communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Target group&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project is aimed at:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Educational staff working with seniors (6 people from each partner country).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Seniors participating in educational activities (8 persons from each partner country).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Senior citizens of all organisations taking an active part in educational programmes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Entire local communities, including senior refugees.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Needs met<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Reducing the digital isolation of seniors through education in modern technology.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Increased openness and intercultural understanding among seniors.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strengthening the competences of educational staff through the exchange of good practice.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Improving the learning capacity of seniors, which will translate into a better quality of life for them.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Project activities<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Exchange of good practice in Poland<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong>A four-day exchange of good practices of seniors and staff from the Czech Republic will take place in Poland in May. It will be attended by 8 seniors from each partner country and staff.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Exchange of good practice in the Czech Republic<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong>A four-day good practice exchange of seniors and staff from Poland in the Czech Republic will take place in August. The event will involve 8 seniors from each partner country and staff.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Development of educational material<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong>As part of the Learning, Teaching and Training Activity for 6 days in Poland, 4 trainers from each organisation, supported by seniors, will intensively develop high-quality educational materials. The work will result in practical solutions and recommendations to support the learning ability of people 60+, as well as leaflets and brochures on the safe use of modern technologies, with a focus on artificial intelligence.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Dissemination of results - mobility in the Czech Republic<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong>This activity will play a key role in realising the project's objectives, ensuring that its results are widely used. The mobility will involve 8 seniors from each partner country and staff.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Online meetings<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong>Eight online meetings with a partner organisation from the Czech Republic are planned.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Results of project implementation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Creation of innovative educational materials for seniors and staff:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A set of educational materials and digital resources. The materials developed will include practical guides, recommendations and interactive digital resources to support the learning of seniors (60+).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Information pack on safe use of technology. This product will include leaflets, brochures and digital guides on safe use of the internet and modern digital tools by seniors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Increase seniors' skills in the use of ICT technologies especially artificial intelligence.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Increased competence of educational staff in working with seniors and migrants.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reducing social resentment towards refugees and increasing intercultural integration.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strengthening the sense of community and solidarity in local communities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The New Seniors project is a step towards a more open, aware and active society in which seniors are full participants in digital and intercultural life.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Project implemented by MOST Association in partnership with KCS Ostrava, z.s. (Czech Republic)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This project is co-financed by the European Union within the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme (Action KA210-ADU - Small-scale Partnerships in Adult Education) with funds from the European Union to support education, training, youth and sport.
