Saturday,<\/strong> 19 April<\/strong>, as part of the project's bottom-up initiatives \u201eSocial Transformation of Katowice\u201d.\u201d<\/strong>, we met at the COP Katowice at 7 Wita Stwosza Street to jointly... sow the theme of not wasting food!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Workshop \u201ePut a twist on it instead of throwing it away\u201d.\u201d<\/strong>, carried out as part of the cycle \u201eFood - a good I respect\u201d.\u201d<\/strong>, was dedicated not only to the practice of pickling, but also to talking about how we can make better use of what we have - with care for the planet, tradition and our health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the workshop: <\/h2>\n\n\n\n
    \n
  • we learned about the process of pickling radishes, cucumbers and homemade kimchi,<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • we learnt how fermentation helps to preserve the freshness of products and reduce waste,<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • we talked about why it is important to make preserves together - generationally, locally and with a smile.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    The meeting was chaired by \u0141ukasz Kocur<\/strong>, who passionately shared his knowledge and experience, showing that pickling is not only a tradition, but also a modern form of organic cooking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The event was organised by MOST Association<\/strong>, and the implementer - as part of a local initiative - the initiative group represented by David Malczak<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
