Saturday, 26 April,<\/strong> as part of the grassroots initiative of the \u201eSocial Transformation of Katowice\u201d project, we met at 17 Piast\u00f3w Street in Katowice for a workshop entitled \u201eTurn instead of throwing away\u201d, where, together with Hm Pawe\u0142 Krawczyk's 32nd Scout Water Team We pickled radishes and talked about ways to reduce food waste.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the workshop:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
    \n
  • We learned the basics of fermentation and safe pickling of radishes,<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • we learned how to plan our shopping and use surplus vegetables instead of throwing them away,<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • We were inspired by zero-waste cuisine, based on respect for food.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    The workshop was led by \u0141ukasz Kocur<\/strong>, who showed how to pickle crispy radishes from simple ingredients available in the home kitchen and prevent food waste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The event is organised by MOST Association.<\/strong> The implementer, as part of a local initiative, is initiative group<\/strong>, represented by Dawid Malczak.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    This event was part of a series of \u201eFood - a good I respect\u201d.\u201d<\/strong> - because we believe that good things are worth doing together. It was a great opportunity to learn how to counter food waste in a practical and tasty way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
