On days 8-13 December in Katowice <\/strong>took place third working study visit<\/strong> implemented as part of the project \u201eNew Senior\u201d-adult education, Erasmus+. <\/strong>It was not a presentation meeting, but intensive and creative work<\/strong> on educational materials for senior citizens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Practical solutions for seniors<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

During the visit:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  • we worked on how educational materials should be designed to be readable, understandable and senior-friendly,<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • We analysed the form, language and visual layer of the materials,<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • we developed a prototype of an information leaflet on \u201eHow to use the Internet safely\u201d,<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • we have prepared content on the safe use of the Internet by seniors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Materials <\/strong>have been designed in a practical manner <\/strong>- so that staff working with seniors can use them immediately in classes, workshops and meetings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The project also included intercultural workshops<\/strong>, which were an important and valuable part of the visit. It was a time of very good working together, sharing experiences, creating inspiring material and building relationships.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Cooperation, relationships and positive emotions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    The visit brought a lot of positive emotions<\/strong>, which participants - seniors from Ostrava<\/strong> and seniors from Katowic <\/strong>- They took home with them. The meeting demonstrated the power of cooperation, openness and joint action across borders.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The event was also attended by representatives of the City of Katowice<\/strong>, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Participants of the meeting were thanked, given Christmas gifts and wished by the Maciej Stachura - Deputy Mayor of the City of Katowice.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      A collective step towards digital confidence for seniors<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      This working visit was an important step in developing tools that provide real support for seniors in navigating the digital world<\/strong> - without fear, complicated language or unnecessary theory. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      We would like to thank all participants, partners and those involved in the visit for their active participation, openness and joint work.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
