About MOST Association

The MOST Association has been working to strengthen local communities in Silesia for more than 20 years. Our mission is to bring people and organisations together and create the conditions for sustainable social change.

We carry out activities in Zabrze, Katowice, Myslowice and Gliwice, supporting people at risk of social exclusion and the development of the civic sector. We work with people coming out of homelessness, the long-term unemployed, people with experience of migration, people with disabilities and many other groups in need of support.

Our activities are based on a long-term process of social and professional reintegration, not on one-off assistance, but on real change.

The scale of our operations

The MOST Association's activities are measurable and wide-ranging:

  • more than 3,600 people supported annually;
  • Hundreds of hours of career, legal and social counselling;
  • dozens of NGOs supported in their development;
  • hundreds of events, workshops and community initiatives every year.

Our programmes not only help specific individuals, but strengthen entire local communities and community organisations that work for the benefit of others.

Areas of activity

  • Social and professional reintegration
    We run Social Integration Centres, where participants rebuild professional, social and life skills.
  • Support to NGOs
    Through the NGO Centre, we support the development of citizens' initiatives, helping organisations to operate more effectively.
  • Building local cooperation
    We bring together the social sector, business and administration to create sustainable partnerships for the development of the region.

Why it matters

In Silesia, every day many people are trying to make a fresh start - to find a job, to regain stability, to rebuild a sense of security.

Social change is a process that requires time, consistency and stable support. That is why our activities focus on long-term outcomes - ones that make a real difference to people's quality of life and enable them to regain their independence.

MOST in numbers and stories

Behind each indicator are specific individuals and their stories. These are people who, thanks to the support of specialists, workshops and activation programmes, are returning to the labour market, rebuilding social relationships and starting new stages in their lives.

Our role is to create the conditions for them to make this change - stable, predictable and available when they really need it.
