Agreement with the ESF logo

The aim of the project implemented by the MOST Association is to increase the effectiveness of the activities of NGOs operating in the area of ESF support through the pilot creation and launch of an NGO agreement.

We intend to achieve this by:

  • Based on the support of the agreement, strengthen the NGO's involved directly or indirectly in OP HC and motivate a wider number of organisations, especially those in rural areas, to take up such a challenge.
  • We want to influence an increase in the consistency of action and cooperation between organisations in the ESF support areas.
  • Increased competence of NGOs in the area of dialogue and facilitation of local cooperation in particular with local government in ESF support areas.
  • Facilitate dialogue between NGOs and IP/IP2.
  • Maintaining the mission and identity of organisations undertaking projects under OP HC.

In the 2007 - 2013 period, the enormous opportunities associated with the possibility of applying for ESF funding for a variety of projects creates the need for organisations to be prepared for long-term tasks, the management of significant grant funds and sectoral and cross-sectoral cooperation.

We qualify the agreement as thematic, aimed at developing individual potential based on group activities (seminars, trainings and workshops, meetings). The point of reference is the capacity of NGOs in the HC OP with emphasis on application and implementation efficiency.

Based on experience, we believe that it will also be very important for the Covenant to consider the changes taking place in NGOs involved in ESF projects. This part of the Accord's output will be useful for NGOs that are thinking about applying to the ESF or do not see the possibility of doing so.

All interested NGOs involved in the implementation of the project will receive expert support, in particular advisors and a project animator.

Project duration: September 2008 - February 2010

The project is funded by the European Social Fund under Priority 5 Measure 4 Sub-measure 2 of the HC OP.
