We warmly invite you to take part in The 1st Silesian School Mediation Forum: „Mediation is about relationships”.

Location: spinPLACE, 5 Bankowa Street, Katowice (University of Silesia building)

For whom?

For groups – groups consisting of 4–5 pupils secondary schools with carers/teachers,
On an individual basis – headteachers, teachers, psychologists, educationalists, mediators, academics, entrepreneurs, and those working in education.

What’s going to happen?

Panel discussions featuring experts,
Presentations on mediation and relationship-building,
Workshops practical skills in conflict resolution and communication,
Developing solution proposals for implementation in schools.

Why is it worth it?

Mediation helps to build relationships, resolve conflicts and develop social skills that are valued by employers. Taking part in the Forum is an opportunity to acquire new skills that can improve the atmosphere at school and prepare you for future professional and personal challenges.

Organiser and implementer

The organiser and implementer is Silesian Association of Family Mediators represented by Aneta Tombarkiewicz-Olszewska (Chair of the Silesian Association of Family Mediators), and the co-organisers are Silesian Voivodeship Youth Council and Katowice Youth Council. The forum is taking place under the patronage of the Mayor of Katowice, Marshal of the Silesian Voivodeship and state and educational institutions.
An event co-organised and co-funded by MOST Association as part of the Local Initiatives under the ‘Social Transformation of Katowice’ project, funded by the EU under the ‘European Funds for Silesia 2021–2027’ programme.
