Don't wait - act locally, make a global difference!
Each group of 5 young people (13-26) from Katowice consisting of young people from Poland and Ukraine can obtain support for their initiative in the amount of PLN 5,000.00.
Purpose of the competition
We support young male and female residents of Katowice in realising their own ideas for the benefit:
- social inclusion
- anti-discrimination
- building intercultural dialogue
- improving the quality of life in the local area
Target group
Initiative groups of at least 5 people aged 13-26 who live or study in Katowice are invited to participate. We encourage the formation of intercultural teams - with the participation of both Polish and Ukrainian young people.
Planned activities
The competition will implement 5 grassroots initiatives. The themes of the activities may relate to:
- counteracting stereotypes, hate speech, discrimination
- organisation of integration events (picnics, city games, film nights)
- improving school or neighbourhood spaces (e.g. courtyard greening, bookcrossing, workshops)
Call deadline: from 1 June until funds are exhausted, but no longer than 31 December 2025.
