The project is co-financed by the European Union under the European Social Fund (Regional Operational Programme for the Silesian Voivodeship for 2014–2020, Measure 9.1: Active Inclusion). The implementation period for the ”Youth Activity Centre” project has been extended until 30 June 2023.
- Project Objective:
The aim of the project is to promote the social and professional integration of young adults (aged 15–35) at risk of social exclusion who live in Katowice.
- Target group:
The project’s target group is the local community of Katowice, including, in particular, young adults at risk of poverty or social exclusion, as well as those around them to the extent necessary to support them. A comprehensive programme has been designed to meet the needs of the target group Local Action Programme aimed at 80 people (44 women and 36 men).
- As part of the project, the following activities are being carried out for the participants:
- Supporting the activity leader by running individual and group sessions as part of CAM,
- Support from a CAM development specialist: organising leisure activities, delivering social and civic education, and involving participants in activities,
- Soft skills workshops,
- Specialist advice for Local Leaders,
- Career guidance and vocational training enabling people to acquire the knowledge and qualifications required in the labour market,
- Coaching,
- Support for the implementation of local initiatives.
Total value of the project: 1,187,604.00 PLN
Amount of funding: 1,128,233.80 zł

The Project Office is located at the headquarters of the Youth Activity Centre (CAM) in Katowice at 14 Kopernika Street.
