We would like to inform you that from 3 February 2025 to 28 February 2025 application forms can be submitted for the competition for grassroots initiatives by residents of Katowice. As part of the call, the following will be awarded 10 local development packages. The total value of one package is a maximum of PLN 6,000 gross.
Premise and purpose of the competition
The main objective of the event is to support the MOST Association in the framework of a project co-financed by the with funding from the European Union under European Funds for Silesia 2021-2027 (Action 10.24 Social Inclusion - Strengthening the Just Transition) non-profit grassroots initiatives to be proposed and implemented by residents of Katowice with the support of the MOST Association. The implementation of the grassroots initiatives is intended to increase the involvement of residents in solving social problems, to raise awareness among residents about climate change and the transformation of the region, and to preserve local and regional identity.
Applicant
Applications may be submitted by living, studying or working in the Katowice area, as well as a social worker i.e. being a volunteer or a member of an NGO working in Katowice.
PLEASE NOTE: Each project participant must have benefited from project support and have submitted a set of documents prior to submission.
Submission of the application
Application forms (Annex to the Rules of the Grassroots Competition No. 1) should be submitted to paper version by downloading it from the MOST Association website, filling it in and then submitting it to one of the following offices Centre for Non-Governmental Organisations in Katowice, ul. Kopernika 14 (room no. 3, office) or ul. Wita Stwosza 7 (room no. 20, office).
Deadline for submission of application forms
The deadline for submission of application forms for grassroots initiatives (10 grassroots initiatives) will be held during the period of 3 February 2025 to 28 February 2025.
Competition results
The evaluation of the competition applications will be announced by 14 days after the end of the call at www.mostkatowice.pl.
Timing of initiatives
The grassroots initiatives selected in the competition will be implemented in the period from the signing of the agreement until 31 August 2025.
