Competition for volunteer mini-grants

Do you have an idea for a volunteer activity but lack the funds to implement it? Do you want to make a positive impact on the local community or support the activities of an organisation whose goals and values you hold dear? Apply to us! We are just launching a competition for volunteer mini-grants, edition 2025!

The MOST Association invites volunteers and all those interested in volunteering to participate in the competition has Volunteer Minigrants, edition 2025. The aim of the competition is to increase the number of people involved in volunteering in the Silesian Voivodeship and additionally to develop their competencies and support the implementation of grassroots initiatives. We are particularly keen to support those projects that focus on developing crisis volunteering and strengthening competences related to social and civil resilience. As part of the ongoing competition, it is possible to receive funding for the implementation of original volunteer initiatives in the amount of PLN 500 - 2000.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • In the competition, you can apply for funds of between PLN 500 and PLN 2,000,
  • funds can be used to finance voluntary activities for the benefit of local communities including organisations, informal groups or activities related to the promotion of the idea of volunteering,
  • The call for proposals shall be carried out continuously from 23.10.2025 until the pool of available funds is exhausted, but no later than 05.12.2025,
  • The activities can be carried out in the Silesian Voivodeship from 10.11.2025 to 21.12.2025.
  • An application may be submitted by an initiative group consisting of min. 3 volunteers, including an adult project leader/leader, registered in the Volunteer Service System (SOW)

How do I apply for a competition has volunteer mini-grants?

  1. Read the competition rules and annexes.  
  2. Gather a group of min. 3 volunteers, form an initiative group and elect a leader.
  3. Check that your initiative group members' accounts on the SOW are active. If you are not yet an SOW member, you can register an account on the website: https://sow.korpussolidarnosci.gov.pl/pl/register/volunteer
  4. Plan the project, prepare a description of the project in the proposal form (Annex 1 to the competition rules) and send the finished proposal to: wolontariat@mostkatowice.pl
