About the event
The energy and social transition that is taking place in Silesia is a topic that concerns everyone - residents, local leaders, community organisations and public institutions. We want the discussion about a just transition to be conducted jointly and openly. That is why, together with Regional Volunteer Centre Katowice and City of Katowice welcome to the conference „Resident and NGO Forum - Fair Transformation”.”.
The meeting will create a space for:
- exchange of experiences and ideas,
- interviews with experts and practitioners,
- to jointly seek directions for the development of the region.
For whom?
The conference is aimed at:
- representatives of non-governmental organisations and informal groups,
- activists and social leaders,
- local government and public institutions,
- academia,
- all those who wish to contribute to the debate on the future of Silesia.
Programme of the event
Conference participants:
- learn about good practices from the region,
- listen to experts and activists,
- will talk about key challenges and trends,
- will consider how to influence the future of Silesia locally,
- make new contacts and find inspiration for action.
Registration
Participation in the conference is free, however pre-registration required. Enrolment continues until 5 September 2025.
