The city of Katowice is applying for the title of European Capital of Culture in 2029. For the preparation of applications The Cultural Institution – Katowice, City of Gardens – is responsible for this, having based the idea on the game concept submitted in the application. The slogan „Play!” is interpreted very broadly, so it is worth meeting with representatives of the City of Gardens to find out how they interpret it and How can we get involved with the app?. As well as a good discussion about culture, At the meeting, we will outline the rules for submitting ideas for the City of Katowice’s bid for the title, and we will explain the rules for applying for funding from the Spójnik Programme!
We invite all cultural activists from Katowice and the surrounding area to the meeting. We also welcome people from non-governmental organisations working in the cultural sector.

- On the role of culture and Katowice’s activities in connection with its bid for the title of European Capital of Culture.
- What is the Spójnik! Programme, and what can it offer non-governmental organisations?.
- Designing cultural and arts activities as part of the Spójnik! Programme

The meeting will take place on Thursday, 14 March 2024., from 4.30 pm to 6.00 pm at COP Katowice at 14 Kopernika Street.
