June was full of get-togethers, conversations and singing together
June in the project „The Social Transformation of Katowice”.” For our senior citizens, the year was marked by lively get-togethers, developmental workshops and special social events. As always, our activities combined a friendly atmosphere with a focus on physical activity, personal development and interpersonal relationships.
International meeting of senior citizens from Poland and Ukraine
A special event took place this month – an international meeting of senior citizens from Poland and Ukraine w Małgorzata Herman’s Senior Citizens’ Club. It was an inspiring time, filled with conversations about culture, identity and shared experiences.
The senior citizens sang Polish and Ukrainian songs, shared stories from their lives and talked about what unites them – despite their different languages and traditions. A genuine atmosphere of understanding and mutual respect was created.
This meeting will remain in our hearts for a long time to come.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Ms Małgorzata Herman and The „Wspólnie-Razem” Association” for your cooperation, openness and the opportunity to create such important moments together.
Regular classes and activities in June
As well as special events, we continued with our regular classes:
– art workshops,
– memory and concentration exercises,
– physical and relaxation activities,
– activities aimed at social engagement and chats over a cup of coffee.
We would like to thank all participants for coming, for their enthusiasm, and for working together to create a senior-friendly space.
