Start of recruitment of NGOs to participate in the project NGO Academy - good law for integration

We are delighted to announce that the second round of applications for non-governmental organisations to take part in the project „NGO Academy - good law for integration„.

Who is this project for?

We invite 30 non-governmental organisations that meet the following criteria to take part in the project the criteria set out in Article 3(2) of the Act on Public Benefit Activities and Volunteering, i.e. foundations, associations and other organisations.

Any organisation wishing to take part in the project must to work in the field of social and vocational integration and reintegration i be registered within one of the six provinces: Silesia, Lesser Poland, Opole, Subcarpathia, Łódź or Świętokrzyskie.

In addition, every non-governmental organisation must delegate at least 5 people to take part in the project – members, volunteers or associates employed under an employment contract or a contract under civil law (contracts for services, specific-task contracts, etc.).

What will I gain from this project?

As part of the project, each non-governmental organisation will follow its own individual development pathway:

  1. Identifying the organisation’s training and development needs,
  2. Delivering general training (24 hours) and consultancy services that will contribute to the development of the organisation’s strategy,
  3. Drawing up a strategy for the organisation’s development and a training plan to support that development.
  4. Delivery of bespoke specialist training courses for organisations (24 hours).
  5. Drawing up at least four procedures for the organisation to assist with its operations (e.g. a new employee induction procedure, a public procurement procedure, a promotion procedure, etc.)
  6. Purchase of a mini development pack for the organisation (books and software up to 1,300 zł).

The project will culminate in a joint trip bringing together all 30 organisations.

By taking part, your organisation will become stronger and will have a well-developed strategy and procedures to streamline operations. As a result, resources will be freed up which can then be channelled into lobbying for changes to the law in the area of social and vocational integration and reintegration.

How will my involvement in the project benefit others?

Drawing on your expertise and that of your organisation, we will develop:

  • 24 comments on draft legislation and competition rules in the field of social and vocational integration and reintegration,
  • 15 legal expertise to identify proposed solutions to the difficulties in the day-to-day operation of reintegration entities,
  • 15 recommendations for changes to legal acts in the area of social and professional integration and reintegration,
  • 15 articles promoting expert analysis in the knowledge base on public consultation and participation in the law-making process,
  • 30 descriptions of problem situations within specific NGOs, anonymised and published in the knowledge base on public consultation and participation in the law-making process,
  • a publication on the development of a system of integration and reintegration measures.

A public consultation specialist is responsible for the above-mentioned activities; they collect comments from organisations and analyse them in collaboration with a lawyer.
