The subject of the project is professional and social reintegration of 30 people from the City of Gliwice. The goal will be accomplished within 3 tasks of the project, which are based on activities supporting participants of CIS and work in two workshops: culinary and renovation-building and housekeeping workshop located at ul. Przedwiośnie 3 in Gliwice - Sośnica.
The project will enable the animation of social life and vocational education of the neighbourhood, and in the sphere of influence will improve the standard of living of the inhabitants of So¶nica, increase the employability of people with a long term distance from the labour market in the City of Gliwice for 48 persons (including 18 persons from the surroundings of the participants). Objectives will be realised through the activities of the Social Integration Centre, internships, support in the area of social and professional competences. Acquiring new professional skills, while increasing confidence and motivation in one's ability to enter normal social and professional life, will allow successful entry from the area of exclusion.
Project objectives:
The aim is to reintegrate and activate 48 project participants by 31.12.2022. The CIS created under the project as a specialised reintegration unit will run vocational workshops. An increase in the employability of persons excluded and at risk of social exclusion will be ensured by the CIS, implementing social and professional reintegration, inter alia, through motivational and therapeutic workshops, adaptation to the Individual Needs of the Participants of the IPU and Individual Social Employment Programme, as well as participation in classes conducted within the framework of two vocational workshops, which will ensure the restoration or strengthening of social competences, resourcefulness, independence and social activity of the participants, leading to an effective fight against poverty and social exclusion.
Planned outcomes:
Implementing social and professional reintegration, inter alia, through motivational and therapeutic workshops adapted to the Individual Needs of Participants of the IPU and IP Social Employment, as well as participation in classes conducted in 2 vocational workshops, will ensure that participants will restore or strengthen their social competences, self-reliance and social activity leading to an effective fight against poverty and social exclusion. In addition, in the vocational part of active inclusion, participants will decide on the direction of their professional development in order to acquire vocational entitlements and qualifications leading to the acquisition of professional competences in line with the needs of the local and regional labour market. Obtaining professional entitlements and skills , desirable on the labour market, will help to obtain and maintain employment, including supported or temporary employment, especially in the initial period of employment. Therefore, the project fits into the specific objective of the Operational Programme, which is to increase the employability of people who are excluded and at risk of social exclusion. Support is targeted at 30 participants . Acquisition of new professional skills, while increasing confidence and motivation in one's ability to enter into normal community and professional life, will allow successful exit from the space of exclusion and life on the social margin. People with disabilities will be promoted, as well as people with low professional qualifications, who are unemployed and at risk of social exclusion. Of the 48 beneficiaries, 30 will be qualified to participate in the programme at least 15 will take up a job. Within the framework of social exclusion prevention, targeted at 18 participants, community forms of social activation will be used - exclusively as accompanying support, necessary for activation of persons, groups and families affected and threatened by poverty and social exclusion.
