About the project
The MOST Association, as a partner of the Regional Centre for Social Policy in Katowice, is implementing the project „Together with Us – Support for Citizens from Ukraine through Social Reintegration Organisations” as part of the Silesian Voivodeship Regional Programme for 2014–2020, Priority Axis IX: Social Integration, Measure 9.1 Active Integration, Sub-measure 9.1.7 Support for regional integration to mitigate the consequences of the crisis caused by the armed conflict in Ukraine – a state of emergency.
The project will run from 1 August 2022 to 24 August 2023.
The aim of the project is the socialand vocational reintegration of persons who left Ukraine following the Russian Federation’s invasion of Ukraine and who had legally entered the Republic of Poland by 24 February 2022, with a particular focus on women and children, with the assistance of an organisation specialising in social and professional reintegration.
The project is being implemented on a partnership basis. The lead organisation is the Regional Centre for Social Policy of the Silesian Voivodeship, and the partners are 18 entities (15 non-governmental organisations and 3 local authorities) which run social integration centres and clubs in the Silesian Voivodeship.
The following activities are being carried out as part of the project:
- Specialist consultancy and legal services – ROPS’s remit
- Social and professional reintegration – a priority for the CIS and KIS
- Integration measures for people with addictions, including children – a priority for CIS and KIS
- The creation of new training workshops – a task for CIS and KIS
- Measures for integration and local socialisation are the remit of the CIS, KIS and ROPS.
The cost of the project is 19,999,980.00 zlotys, including EU funding of 16,999,983.00 zlotys. Within the project budget:
- ROPS is implementing a project worth 1,470,000.00 zlotys, including 1,249,500.00 zlotys from European Union funds,
- The partners are carrying out projects worth 18,529,980.00 zlotys, of which 15,750,483.00 zlotys is funding from the European Union.

About the Project
The MOST Association as a partner The Regional Centre for Social Policy in Katowice is implementing a project entitled „Together with us – supporting Ukrainian citizens by harnessing the potential of social reintegration organisations’” under the Regional Operational Programme for the Silesian Voivodeship for 2014–2020, Priority Axis IX: Social Inclusion, Measure 9.1. Active integration, Sub-measure 9.1.7 Regional integration support to mitigate the effects of the crisis caused by the armed conflict in Ukraine – emergency procedure.
The project will run from 1 August 2022 to 24 August 2023.
The aim of the project is the socialof people fleeing Ukraine as a result of the Russian Federation’s attack on Ukraine, who have entered the territory of the Republic of Poland legally since 24 February 2022, with particular emphasis on women and children, by utilising the potential of organisations involved in social and professional reintegration.
The project is being implemented as a partnership. The lead organisation is the Regional Centre for Social Policy of the Silesian Voivodeship, and the partners comprise 18 organisations (15 non-governmental organisations and 3 local government bodies) which run Social Integration Centres and Clubs across the Silesian Voivodeship.
The following tasks are being carried out as part of the project:
- Specialist advice and legal assistance service – a task of the ROPS
- The path to social and professional reintegration – the role of the CIS and KIS
- Integration measures for dependants, including children – a task for the CIS and KIS
- Setting up new workshops – a task for CIS and KIS
- Environmental initiatives aimed at fostering integration with the local community – a task for the CIS, KIS and ROPS.
The value of the project is PLN 19,999,980.00, of which PLN 16,999,983.00 is co-financing from European Union funds. Within the project budget:
- ROPS is carrying out projects worth 1,470,000.00 PLN, of which 1,249,500.00 PLN comes from European Union funds,
- The partners are carrying out projects worth PLN 18,529,980.00, of which PLN 15,750,483.00 comes from European Union funds.
The main objective of the project is to improve the level of social and professional integration of 145 people at risk of social exclusion (87 women/58 men) living in Zabrze and neighbouring towns, through personalised and comprehensive support, including, amongst other things: : the CIS programme, which will cover at least 40 people, and a reintegration, training and work placement programme for a total of 105 people, who will receive support tailored to their individual needs and capabilities.
