Bridges of cooperation

MOST Association in partnership with Foundation for the Development of the Social Economy, Centre for the Development of Community Initiatives and Silesian NGO Forum „KAFOS” during the period 01.01.2026 - 31.12.2028 implements the project Bridges of cooperation. The project is aimed at 250 civil society organisations and 750 of their representatives from the Silesian Voivodeship.

Project co-financed by the European Union under the European Funds for Silesia 2021-2027 Measure 07.12 Development of civil dialogue.

Tasks and activities carried out in the project

The project planned comprehensive support for NGOs, including:

Building the NGO environment in the Silesian Voivodeship and improving its perception in the community - Within the framework of the task, activities strengthening cooperation and integration of non-governmental organisations in the Silesian Voivodeship will be implemented.
Support to organisations - The project assumes comprehensive support for non-governmental organisations from the Silesian Voivodeship, implemented by sub-regions (central, northern, southern and western) ensuring equal access to support throughout the region.
Individual Development Plans (IPR) - each organisation participating in the project will receive a development path tailored to its actual needs, including a diagnosis, the selection of support instruments and the definition of expected results.

Support focuses on key areas:

management standards and procedures,
reflexivity (strategic planning, theory of change, evaluation),
advocacy and participation in public consultations,
quality of services (especially social services),
intersectoral cooperation.

Key forms of support in each sub-region:

Training: workshops and specialised educational services to improve staff competences.
Advice: individual support from specialist advisors and assistance in developing and implementing the IPR.
Networking and animation: local animation, organisation of cooperation forums, study visits and reimbursement for participation in external integration events.
Participation and advocacy: support of an advocacy specialist, assistance in the preparation of advocacy processes and covering the costs of participation in public consultations and conferences.

Target groups

The project is aimed at 250 civil society organisations and 750 their employees or representatives, operating in of the Śląskie voivodships.

Project objective

The aim of the project is to comprehensive capacity building of 250 civil society organisations from the Śląskie voivodeship 2026-2028, by improving their standards of governance, quality of service delivery and effectiveness in advocacy and civic dialogue.

Project outcomes and results

Strengthening the capacity of 250 organisations civil society from the Silesian Voivodeship.
Support for 750 representatives of civil society organisations (including volunteers).

Value of project co-financing: PLN 4,738,617.32, including funding from the European Union: PLN 4 239 815.50.
