If you’d like to find out how to influence those around you in a positive and effective way and change things for the better – do come along. This event is for you.
At the meeting, you’ll also find out what peaceful tools are available for exerting social influence on local authorities, and how to become an urban activist. We’ll also tell you how to use laughter to bring about social change and how to create viral content 🙂
We invite all residents of Katowice to the meeting. We also invite anyone who is interested in this topic.
Proposed agenda for the meeting:
- An introduction to urban activism,
- Methods and tools for influencing decision-makers,
- An assessment of the needs of the residents of Katowice and the Katowice Metropolitan Area.
Where and when?
The meeting will take place on Saturday, 16 March 2024., from 10.00 to 12.00 at COP Katowice at 14 Kopernika Street.
Who?
Grażyna Prycza-Kupny, a resident of the Zawodzie district of Katowice, an activist and community worker. She is a member of two Katowice-based non-governmental organisations: Mieszkańcy dla Katowic and Stowarzyszenie Wolnej Herbaty. She works as a teacher and librarian.
