Spilno means together

The MOST Association, in partnership with the Incorpore Foundation and the City of Katowice – on behalf of which the Katowice District Employment Office acts – is implementing the ‘Spilno znaczy wspólnie’ project, co-financed by the European Union.

The aim of the project is the social and economic integration of 900 third-country nationals (hereinafter referred to as ‘TCNs’) lawfully residing in the Silesian Voivodeship with the intention of staying there permanently or temporarily between 2025 and 2028. The project’s objectives will be achieved through the implementation of measures relating to a comprehensive integration programme comprising:

  • social support – regular social gatherings and events focusing on Polish culture
  • language learning at B1/B2 level
  • legal support in the form of providing information, assistance with legalisation and advice
  • psychological and specialist support in the form of counselling
  • career support (career guidance and job placement, training and work placements)

Third-country nationals are persons who:

  • do not hold citizenship of any EU country (or of countries such as Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Switzerland)
  • are in Poland legally (i.e. on the basis of documents authorising them to work and reside here, or confirming that they are under protection).
  • are economic migrants, students, refugees or persons covered by other forms of protection
  • work or live within the Silesian Voivodeship
  • are Ukrainian nationals who have become refugees as a result of the Russian Federation’s invasion of Ukraine (particularly women
    of working age with children).
  • are economic and political migrants from Belarus
  • are migrants from Georgia (particularly students)
  • come from Russia, Moldova and other countries of the former Eastern Bloc
  • come from India and countries in South-East Asia
  • belong to the other OPT groups (including men aged up to 45 with higher or secondary education)

Project participants will be provided with support in the form of social support, language tuition, legal and psychological support, and vocational support comprising career guidance and job placement, training and work placements. The project will result in an improvement in the social situation of participants, amongst other things through an increase in their qualifications (including language skills). The immediate outcome will be an improvement in the social situation of participants, as well as their acquisition of qualifications and employment.
