We are implementing the project „Connecting us through action”

We are launching the „Connecting us with action” project, in which we develop the MOST Association's volunteering and create a place where volunteers feel needed, have an impact and can develop their ideas. We work to increase the number of volunteers supporting NGOs, local communities and working for the common good.

Who are we targeting with our project activities?

  • to the current MOST volunteers - so that they can operate in a more structured, friendly way with the constant and professional support of the volunteer coordinators,
  • to new people who are thinking about volunteering but don't know how to get started,
  • to people who have an idea for social action and are looking for a place where they can implement it,
  • for the organisations and local communities that benefit from MOST support - they are the ones that will benefit most from working with our volunteers.

What activities are planned in the project?

  • employment volunteer coordinators and developing their competences during tutoring and study visits,
  • development a comprehensive volunteering programme in the Association including, inter alia, the development of a website and the implementation of a Volunteer Service System (SOW) (https://sow.korpussolidarnosci.gov.pl/), the implementation of training and team-building events for volunteers or the arrangement of friendly work spaces,
  • implementation of minigrant programme with funding for the implementation of volunteer ideas,
  • development the crisis volunteer model in cooperation with local government and local NGOs.

Those interested in joining the project are invited to contact us by email, at: wolontariat@mostkatowice.pl
