Towards a better life
The project is co-financed by the State Fund for the Rehabilitation of People with Disabilities as part of Call for Proposals 1/2021 „Reaching for Success”.
It is aimed at people with disabilities who:
– are residents of the Silesian Voivodeship,
– hold a disability certificate,
– are people who are not in employment;
– are not covered by the same activation measures under other tasks or projects funded by PFRON and carried out at the same time.
As part of the activities planned under the Project, all Participants will receive support in the form of the planning and implementation of an Individual Action Plan (IAP), which will include, amongst other things:
- vocational courses,
- work placements,
- workshops to develop interests,
- support group.
The project is being implemented from 1 April 2021 to 31 March 2024.
All activities carried out under the Project are free of charge for the beneficiary.
The aim of the project is to increase the level of social and professional activity among 120 people with disabilities from the Silesian Voivodeship over a two-year period, thereby enabling them to enter the labour market and secure stable employment.
The group of final beneficiaries (FB) will consist of people with disabilities living in the Silesian Voivodeship, particularly in Katowice and the surrounding towns.
These persons should have a disability certificate and be unemployed. They must also not be covered by the same activation measures under other tasks or projects financed from PFRON funds implemented at the same time.
At least 80% BO will comprise people with a significant or moderate degree of disability, or people with multiple disabilities, including intellectual disabilities.
