We warmly invite teenagers and young adults aged 15–29 to take part in a unique event promoting sustainable fashion and responsible consumption – SWAP PARTY, which is a get-together combined with a swap of clothes, accessories and inspiration.
The event will begin with a short talk and a discussion on the impact of the clothing industry on the environment, as well as ways in which everyday choices can support positive change. The main part of the event will involve a practical clothes swap in the spirit of the idea zero waste.
Rules for taking part in the exchange
- All items brought in must be clean, well-maintained and in good condition.
- Each participant sets up their own display area for their clothes.
- The exchange takes place on a cashless basis – participants visit each other’s stalls and propose an exchange.
A vegan spread will be provided for all participants, prepared by the event hosts – Piękna Wege Bistro.
Terms and Conditions of Participation
- The event is aimed at people aged 15–29 who live, study, work or volunteer in Katowice.
- To take part, you must complete the project documents (available on site).
- People from outside Katowice are asked to provide a certificate confirming their connection with the city (e.g. from a university or employer): link.
- Minors must provide consent from a parent or guardian: link.
