Project for dependent people with disabilities aged 60+, residents of
from Zabrze and the surrounding area provides:
- Possibility of care services,
- Possibility to use assistant services,
- Opportunity to participate in Senior Club activities - with the support of a carer/assistant.
The Senior Citizens' Club activities (2 x weekly) will include general fitness activities with a meal provided for the participants:
- computer classes (including use of the Internet);
- improving (e.g. yoga)
- cultural education activities (e.g. going to the cinema, theatre)
- psychological and family counselling
- legal advice
- creation of a self-help group among senior citizens
The project participant is charged a fee constituting the required minimum own contribution to the project, which includes a surcharge for the employment of assistants for persons with disabilities in the project and participation in the Senior Citizens' Club. A participant using the services of an assistant
and from the activities of the Senior Citizen's Club within the framework of the project, shall bear the participation fee
at a minimum amount of PLN 3.80 for participation in one day of classes.
